Whether you’re a teacher or student of Computer Science, keeping up with an ever changing subject is tough.
Membership with TeachAllAboutIT will improve results through access to hundreds of resources online and ready for you to download as you teach or study.
With so much content to cover, and new discoveries changing the way and topics that we study it’s impossible to know where to begin sometimes! Have you ever thought “Where do I start?”, “How will I understand all of this?” – you’re not alone. When I first started teaching Computer Science, I wished that I had a place to turn to when a topic stumped me and to let me know that all the hard work would be worth it (it is).
Where is the Individual Teacher membership? Following feedback from a number of teachers, the decision was taken to focus our efforts on providing a subscription service for students and whole schools and to withdraw the individual teacher option. Should you wish to purchase resources as an individual teacher, this is still available through the Buy Resources area and the option remains for schools to purchase these by selecting “pay by invoice” at checkout.
Those who have current individual teacher subscriptions will continue to recieve the same access until the end of their subscription.
Have you been teaching or learning in the best way possible? If the answer is yes, then amazing! I’m really proud of you! If the answer is no, then let’s figure out what is in your way. What is holding you back? Do you have a plan to keep you on track more than just a scheme of work or revision timetable? Do you need some support to work towards the end goal of being the very best you can be?
I genuinely believe that anyone can make progress in Computer Science with the right support. This often doesn’t mean the same support, but accessing equity and providing enough structure for everyone to access the curriculum without feeling like a rabbit in the headlights. That’s not to say that it isn’t a tough path to follow, but it’s not an impossible one.
With newer courses cramming in so many topics in such a small space of time, it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed and put off tackling the tough stuff then never make the progress that you intended to at the start of the year. Despite all the pressures of the academic year, you can turn those intentions into a reality. My no frills strategy of Find it, Learn it, Teach it is something that I deeply believe in for both teachers and students.
I’ve worked incredibly hard to produce free topic introductions for Computer Science, but the subscrition resources are for teachers and students who want even more and help to make the running of this site possible. With a subject that is growing year on year and impacts on everyone’s lives across the globe, joining the subscription plan allows you to access a range of , so you can keep learning with the support and inspiration that you deserve.
Each month we will be upload new content specific to teaching and learning Computer Science for paid members at no extra cost, although these will be available to purchase individually for non-members. Some of the topics include:
I can’t wait to see you there!
