Download GCSE & 11+ exam practice papers as as either a direct digital download or with the option to receive marks & feedback from a fully qualified teacher once you have completed your paper.
Practice papers help you to prepare for the real exam by becoming used to the style of exam questions, and timing needed to answer in sufficient detail.
Whilst the 11+ was officially discontinued in Northern Ireland, due to pressure from both parents and schools, the Transfer Test remains in place in an internal format. This now exists as two types of test:
PPTC (Post Primary Transfer Consortium)
English: A multiple choice paper lasting 50 minutes with 60 questions. 60% comprehension, 40% spelling & grammar.
Maths: A multiple choice paper lasting 45 minutes with 45 questions covering a range of primary age topics.
AQE (Association of Quality Education)
The exam is sat as three separate 1 hour combined papers that include both English and Maths questions. Each paper is worth 64 marks with 32 marks for each subject. Questions in the paper are a combination of written and multiple choice.
These specially designed practice exam papers will be sent to your email upon purchase. If you have selected a paper that includes teacher feeback, simply print your paper, complete it, and upload a scanned version using the submission form.
